K & J has supported MATA by providing system safety, system security, safety engineering, safety and security training, rules/procedures development, safety auditing and emergency management consulting services.

2020

  • Conducted and completed MATA SMS Gap Analysis and report
  • Developed and submitted MATA SMS Implementation Plan
  • Developed, drafted, and submitted MATA Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan 
  • Developed system-wide Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for agency

 

General Transit Safety and Security On-Call Consulting Services

  • Revenue Operations Interim Certification Certificate expires 31 December 2020 
  • Continue to work towards certifying the 1 remaining Trolley for Main Street
  • Will issue FINAL SSCVR by 31 December 2020 

 

2019

Development of a Full-Scale Exercise scheduled for November 14, 2019 to include Exercise Plan utilizing HSEEP guidelines, scenario and exercise logistics, Hot Wash and the After-Action Report

2018

1: Assist with the development of the Full-Scale Exercise (December 4, 2018) to include Exercise Plan utilizing HSEEP guidelines, scenario and exercise logistics, and the After-Action Report.

 

2:  General Transit Safety & Security On-Call Consulting Services:

  • Revised the SSMP.
  • Revised the SSCP.
  • Performed OHA’s for the Main Street Trolley Line.
  • Verification/Certification in order to begin Revenue Operations.
  • Certified 4 Trolleys for Revenue Service.
  • Certified Main Street Trolley Line.
  • Revenue Operations began on April 30th under an Interim Certification
  • Managing the mitigations of the 495 OHA’s for MATA.
  • Continue to work towards certifying the 2 remaining Trolleys for Main Street.
